Committee on Pro-American Activities

Lets do whats right for Americans!

Well, it always the thing we say we should "do something" but we are not always sure of what things we can do. I have come up with some suggestions of Pro-American Activities that you can do or help sponsor in your communities!

January - The Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is this month and there are parades and celebrations that you and the Republican party can and SHOULD be a part of.

February - a twofer! February is Black History Month get creative but get involved, schools are looking for speakers and exhibits! Valentines Day is also in this month sponsor a Conservative Compassion day that takes flowers and chocolates to single moms for Valentines Day!

March -It is the beginning of spring its time for a picnic! The Picnic for the Poor day to bring attention to hunger and nutrition issues. Make sure the press are there.

April - As the end of school is drawing near an essay contest that awards a scholarship to a needy student may just get that press coverage of compassion!

May - Time to give out the awards to Teacher, Principal, and School of the year and have a nice awards ceremony. Always a fun night!

June - Another twofer - Summer programs or camps are fan favorite! Maybe a water safety camp for the inner-city kids. Or how about this one, a free summer camp of some length that provides teachers students and parents a chance to catch up and keep up on the education skills that they will need to be successful. Who doesn't want good schools!?

July - Party! Be a visible part of any and all 4th of July celebrations! Maybe even sponsor some yourselves!

August - Back to School, Supply give-aways are always a hit! Do it!

September - Support and celebrate work! Be a visible participant in any and all celebrations!

October - Halloween can be fun and dangerous. Offer a safe Halloween alternative. Offer to make Halloween safer by participating with crime watch organizations. Be creative!

November - Thanksgiving. Is this too hard for you?

December - Christmas - even easier!

I am thinking of starting a 'Conservative Club' in my city. Open to anyone interested in conservative principles and wanting to DO something. What do you think? Got any suggestions?
